Location: Wandsworth, Battersea
Position: Teaching Assistant
Start Date: September
Pay: £1,851-£2,650 per month
An OFSTED 'Good' school in Wandsworth is offering a fantastic opportunity for a Teaching Assistant to join their supportive team and develop valuable skills within the education sector, working within a mainstream classroom and supporting SEN students. The school provides a positive working environment, structured support from staff, and a strong commitment to pupil development and wellbeing.

Responsibilities of a Teaching Assistant:
- Working with children aged 2-6 in both indoor and outdoor classes
- Supporting child-initiated learning
- Helping children with special educational needs
- Engaging with students through three different sessions throughout the day
- Treating children with respect and kindness as a Teaching Assistant
Job Requirements for a Teaching Assistant:
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service
- Interest in working with children, specifically those with SEN
- Experience working in childcare, either informally or formally
- Right to work in the UK
Desirable:
- An honours degree (preferably a 2:1 or above) or equivalent
