We are seeking a supportive teaching assistant to help pupils with a range of SEND needs thrive in their learning.
About the Role
- Support pupils with MSI, ASD, PMLD, PD, and SLD through structured, sensory‑rich, and communication‑focused activities.
- Adapt learning environments to promote sensory engagement, emotional regulation, and independence.
- Assist with personal‑care routines and daily independence tasks.
- Work collaboratively with teachers and therapy professionals to deliver targeted interventions.
- Support pupils during therapy programmes such as speech and language, physiotherapy, or sensory circuits.
- Contribute to progress tracking, classroom organisation, and IEP reviews.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience supporting SEND learners.
- Patience, empathy, and flexibility.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Qualifications such as CACHE, NVQ, or TA Level 2/3 are advantageous.
- Commitment to developing as a teaching assistant.

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
