Due to continued growth, they are looking for a talented and detail-oriented Technical Designer to join their expanding design team.

The Role

As a Technical Designer, you will play a key role in transforming creative interior design concepts into fully coordinated technical drawing packages ready for construction. Working closely with the creative, delivery, and construction teams, you will ensure designs are technically compliant, buildable, and delivered to the highest standards. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong Revit and technical detailing experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced commercial design and build environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Produce comprehensive technical drawing packages in Revit for construction issue
  • Coordinate and review drawings from external consultants and subcontractors
  • Identify and resolve clashes within coordinated drawing packages
  • Manage drawing schedules, revisions, and design programmes
  • Attend and contribute to client, consultant, and contractor design meetings
  • Attend site meetings and support project delivery teams
  • Assist with designer risk assessments and CDM compliance
  • Support Principal Designer duties relating to CDM and Building Safety Act requirements
  • Manage document control processes using Viewpoint or similar document management systems
  • Assist in preparing room data sheets and technical specifications
  • Work collaboratively with creative designers, technical teams, and contractors
  • Effectively manage workload across multiple live projects

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience in a Technical Designer role within commercial interiors or design & build
  • Advanced Revit skills with strong technical detailing ability
  • Good understanding of construction drawing packages and BIM workflows
  • Knowledge of UK Building Regulations and construction standards
  • Strong coordination and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and organisational abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
