The Opportunity

A great opportunity for a Technical Manager to join a specialist contractor delivering complex defence, industrial and data centre projects.

This role offers involvement across the full project lifecycle, supporting technical delivery from pre-construction through to handover while ensuring compliance, quality and technical excellence.

Role Overview

You will be responsible for:

• Leading technical coordination across projects.
• Managing internal and external design teams.
• Supporting technical reviews, compliance and buildability.
• Managing technical queries and design changes.
• Supporting BIM coordination and digital delivery.
• Ensuring compliance with Building Regulations and CDM.
• Supporting pre-construction bids and tender reviews.
• Managing technical risk and value engineering opportunities.
• Liaising with clients, consultants and subcontractors.

About You

• Experience within technical management or design management.
• Strong understanding of construction detailing and technical coordination.
• Experience within industrial, defence or data centre sectors desirable.
• Strong understanding of BIM, Revit and technical software.
• Commercially aware with strong communication skills.
• Degree qualified or equivalent construction background.
