Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the plant’s technology engineering team as part of the site leadership group.
- Oversee process engineering activities, including product specification reviews and quality analysis.
- Collaborate with R&D and global product teams to optimise processes and ensure compliance with ISO, HACCP, Kosher, and Halal standards.
- Drive process improvement initiatives using control and statistical methods.
- Manage departmental budgets, resources, and performance metrics effectively.
- Oversee Management of Change (MOC) processes to maintain industry compliance and quality standards.
- Support audits, address internal non-conformances, and resolve customer complaints.
- Set and monitor KPIs aligned with business objectives.
- Provide leadership, coaching, and performance management for department staff.
- Bachelor’s degree in Science or Engineering.
- Technical experience in manufacturing product realisation, including at least 3 years in a management role.
- Proven leadership skills with experience in cross-functional collaboration.
- Strong knowledge of process control, ISO standards, and quality assurance.
- Familiarity with PPAP, parts submission warrants, and AIAG core tools.
- Certification in VDA 6.3 and understanding of TS 16949.
- Six Sigma certification (Black Belt preferred).
- Expertise in statistical process control and advanced quality techniques.
