Location: Kirkbymoorside
Rate: £13.65 per hour
Contract: Temporary

We are currently recruiting for a Temporary Purchase Ledger Clerk to join a busy and friendly finance team based in Kirkbymoorside.

This role will involve supporting the finance function with the accurate processing of supplier invoices, statement reconciliations, and payment preparation. The successful candidate will have previous purchase ledger or accounts payable experience and be confident working with financial systems and spreadsheets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Processing high volumes of supplier invoices
  • Matching invoices to purchase orders
  • Reconciling supplier statements
  • Investigating and resolving invoice queries
  • Assisting with payment runs
  • Maintaining accurate financial records
Requirements:

  • Previous purchase ledger or accounts payable experience
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Good organisational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Competent IT skills, including Microsoft Excel
