We are working with a well-established pump rental provider delivering temporary and engineered pumping solutions across the construction, water, and environmental sectors nationwide.

They are now seeking a Territory Manager to drive business growth across the Midlands region, ideally based around Burton on Trent or the wider Wolverhampton area.

This is a field-based sales role focused on developing new and existing client relationships, identifying project opportunities, and delivering technically sound pumping solutions that maximise revenue and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and grow a portfolio of clients across the Midlands region
  • Build strong relationships with customers through regular site visits and meetings
  • Identify new project opportunities and engage early to understand customer requirements
  • Promote pumping solutions and match products to specific client applications
  • Manage projects from initial enquiry through to completion including technical and commercial aspects
  • Prepare and deliver accurate quotations balancing profitability and long-term relationships
  • Monitor customer spend and identify opportunities for growth within existing accounts
  • Collaborate with internal teams including operations, hire desk, and technical solutions
  • Deliver professional presentations and maintain a high level of product knowledge
  • Maintain accurate sales data and reporting through internal systems
  • Ensure all activities align with health and safety and company procedures

Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience in a field-based sales role within hire, construction, water, or related industries
  • Strong commercial awareness with experience driving growth and profitability
  • Ability to build relationships and influence customers at all levels
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills with the ability to present professionally
  • Excellent planning and organisation skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Self-motivated and driven to exceed targets
  • IT literate with experience using CRM or sales systems and Microsoft Office
  • Understanding of pump hire or equipment hire advantageous
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the Midlands region

Summary

Position: Territory Manager

Location: Midlands (Wolverhampton / Burton on Trent area)

Duration: Permanent

Salary: £55,000 - £60,000 - includes Bonus + Company Car

Hours: 40 hours per week

Start: Notice dependent
