Salay: £33,000 - £35,000

Test & Applications Engineer required. Our client is a specialist engineering company supplying advanced machinery based in the Poole, Dorset area. Due to continued success they are seeking a Test & Applications Engineer to join the team. The successful candidate will be conducting trials on plastic materials in a laboratory environment.

Test & Applications Engineer Position Overview

• Carrying out pressure testing & feasibility studies on plastics materials
• Analysing test results
• Communicating closely with customer via email & phone regarding test results and feasibility
• In the future visiting the customers if required alongside the sales engineer and in time commissioning machines throughout the UK & Ireland.

Test & Applications Engineer Position Requirements

• Previous experience within a Test / Laboratory related role
• Ability to work as part of a team with a flexible approach
• Experience working with Plastics is a distinct advantage
• Qualifications within Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing or Testing is desirable
• Willingness to travel when required
• Based in a commutable distance of Poole

Test & Applications Engineer Position Remuneration

• Salary: £33,000 - £35,000
• Working hours: Monday to Thursday 08:30 - 17:15, Friday 08:30 - 16:00.
• 25 days holiday, plus bank holidays
• Bonus paid on company performance
• Pension
