Test Technician

Job title: Test Technician
Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Pay: Competitive pay

Location: Bicester

Key responsibilities of Test Technician:

• Operate and maintain test equipment including dynamometer rigs and environmental test systems
• Assemble and configure test rigs (mechanical, electrical, fluid and instrumentation systems)
• Execute test procedures safely and accurately
• Support engineers with test development and data analysis
• Carry out basic wiring, soldering and electrical assembly work
• Maintain and calibrate lab equipment and contribute to continuous improvements

Skills & experience required from the Test Technician:

• Experience in a test or engineering environment (ideally automotive, aerospace or similar)
• Ability to read electrical schematics and follow technical procedures
• Hands-on experience with wiring, crimping, soldering and basic fault-finding
• Positive, flexible attitude with strong attention to detail
• Experience with dynamometer rigs or similar test equipment would be beneficial
