Job Opportunity: Scrub Nurse
Location: Dorchester, DT1
Contract Type: Full-time (37.5 hours per week)
Working Hours: 4 days out of 6, from 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM
Salary: £34,386 - £44,518 (Dependent on experience)

They are currently seeking a Scrub Nurse who will play an essential role in upholding the values of safety, integrity, kindness, and transparency in day-to-day operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensuring adherence to clinical governance principles in all operations.
- Managing the admission and discharge process for patients on theatre days.
- Administering medication safely in line with NMC guidelines for the handling of medicines.
- Maintaining accurate records according to NMC standards.
- Providing scrub experience during clinical procedures.
- Reporting any accidents or incidents according to established procedures.
- Collaborating with consultants and the clinical team to deliver outstanding ophthalmic care.
- Preparing clinical areas by ensuring that all equipment is checked and ready for use prior to procedures.
- Maintaining proper storage and organization of equipment and supplies.
- Following all company policies and procedures diligently.
- Assisting with stock control and ensuring that par levels of supplies are maintained.
- Managing theatre equipment and ensuring proper functionality on a daily basis.
- Upholding patient confidentiality in compliance with the Data Protection Act.
