TIG Welder / Pipe TIG Welder Required

We are currently recruiting for an experienced TIG Welder / Pipe TIG Welder to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled and reliable welder to work on a variety of projects within industrial and process pipework environments.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in TIG welding stainless steel pipework and be capable of working from engineering drawings to a high standard of quality and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

• TIG welding stainless steel and carbon steel pipework.
• Fabrication and assembly of pipework systems from engineering drawings.
• Pipe fitting and preparation of materials prior to welding.
• Producing high-quality welds to company and industry standards.
• Working on process, steam, gas, and industrial pipework installations.
• Inspecting completed welds to ensure quality requirements are met.
• Maintaining a safe and tidy working environment.
• Working independently and as part of a team to meet project deadlines.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years' experience as a TIG Welder / Pipe TIG Welder.
• Proven experience welding stainless steel pipework.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering and fabrication drawings.
• Experience with pipe fitting and fabrication.
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Good understanding of health and safety procedures.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively within a team.

Desirable

• Apprenticeship or NVQ in Fabrication and Welding.
• Previous coded welding experience.
• Experience within food, pharmaceutical, chemical, or process industries.
• CSCS, IPAF, or other relevant site certifications.
