TIG Welder – Chorley – £14.35 per hour – Immediate Start

Motion Group Ltd is recruiting an experienced TIG Welder on behalf of a well-established, ISO 9001 accredited precision sheet metal fabrication company based in Chorley. This is an ongoing temporary role with genuine temp-to-perm potential for the right welder.

The company has 25+ years in the trade and supplies fabrications into commercial and retail markets across the UK and internationally. The Chorley site focuses on the finer, more detailed sheet metal work — ideal for a welder who takes pride in clean, precise welds.

TIG Welder – Key Responsibilities:

• TIG welding on stainless steel, aluminium, mild steel, brass and copper
• Working on thin-gauge sheet metal from 0.5mm up to 12mm
• Welding from engineering drawings on bespoke and batch-run components
• Maintaining ISO 9001 quality standards on all welds
• Working in a segregated stainless welding area where required
• MIG welding may be required occasionally to support production

TIG Welder – Requirements:

• Time-served TIG welder with proven sheet metal experience
• Strong on thin-gauge stainless and aluminium TIG welding
• Confident reading and working from engineering drawings
• Awareness of cross-contamination control on stainless work
• Coded welders welcome but not essential
• Reliable, quality-focused, good attendance record

TIG Welder – What's On Offer:

• £14.35 per hour, paid weekly
• Day shift, Monday–Friday (early Friday finish)
• Ongoing work with strong temp-to-perm potential

• Easy access from the M6, M61 and M65

Location: Chorley, PR6 – own transport recommended.
