📍 Location: Worcester
🕒 Hours: 37.5 hours per week (Double Days Shift) - Monday to Friday (6am until 2pm & 2pm until 10pm)

PAY: £18 - £19 per hour (£36k - £38k per year)

About the Role

We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Toolmaker to join a busy and well-established manufacturing business. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a professional Toolroom environment, supporting production through maintenance, repair, and continuous improvement of tooling.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain die and trim tool condition in line with TPM programmes
• Support production by responding to machine and tooling breakdowns
• Carry out scheduled tooling changes to meet production demands
• Assist with wider Toolroom activities and priorities as required
• Identify and implement continuous improvements to enhance tooling reliability
• Work in a disciplined and methodical manner, adhering to company procedures and Health & Safety requirements
• Promote a proactive “can-do” culture within the team

Skills & Experience Required

• Proven skills in turning, milling, grinding, and bench fitting
• Experience in stripping and assembling dies and trim tools
• Previous experience in a Toolroom environment (preferred)
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify issues and drive solutions through to completion
• Good organisational and communication skills
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
• A team player with strong interpersonal skills and a proactive attitude

Desirable (Training Provided)

• Experience using Overhead Cranes / FLT
• TIG welding experience
