Role: Trade Counter Sales - Plumbing

Salary: Up to £32,000 plus bonus if targets hit paid quarterly

Location: South Buckinghamshire

Simon Acres Group LTD are representing a well-established and customer-focused plumbing and heating merchant

This opportunity is ideal for an experienced and customer-focused Trade Counter Sales Assistant looking to join a busy branch environment. The successful individual will play a key role in supporting daily branch operations, serving customers, processing orders, and providing expert product advice while contributing to overall branch performance.

Serve both trade and retail customers at the trade counter
Process customer orders and enquiries face-to-face and over the phone
Recommend suitable products and solutions based on customer requirements
Build and maintain strong customer relationships to encourage repeat business
Identify opportunities to maximise sales and support branch growth
Resolve customer queries and complaints in a professional and timely manner
Maintain strong product and technical knowledge across plumbing and heating supplies
Support the branch team with general operational and day-to-day duties
Ensure Health & Safety procedures are followed at all times

Previous trade counter or plumbing merchant experience essential
Background within plumbing, builders merchants, or trade environments preferred
Strong customer service and communication skills
Good industry and product knowledge within plumbing and heating supplies
Basic numeracy skills including addition and subtraction
Ability to prioritise workload and work independently when required
Friendly, approachable, and a strong team player
Willingness to learn, undertake training, and develop within the role
Full UK driving licence required

Monday to Friday plus alternate Saturday morning
