Our client, a well-established building services consultancy in Plymouth, is looking to recruit a Trainee Electrical Engineer to join their growing team.

Our client is very open to candidates who wish to move from the tools into the office and learn the design side of the Electrical Engineering role. 

Working alongside experienced engineers, you will:

• Assist with electrical building services design projects.

• Support the preparation of technical drawings, calculations, and documentation.

• Use digital design tools and software.

• Assist with site surveys and project research.

• Attend project meetings and support project delivery.

• Learn industry standards, regulations, and best practices.

You will have:

• Either be graduated with a Electrical or Construction biased Degree or have onsite working experience working in the electrical field looking to step into the office. 

• A very keen interest in engineering and design.

• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

• Good communication skills and a positive attitude.

• A willingness to learn and develop professionally.

• Professional mentoring and structured training.

• Clear progression opportunities, including potential degree sponsorship and chartership.
