The company has built a stellar reputation within the energy sector over the past five years and is looking to hire trainee meter technicians to join their growing team.

You'll receive full training before visiting meter locations across HA and HP postcode areas. Your duties will include planning your route, taking meter readings, and reporting any issues, all while providing excellent service to customers. The role has a strong focus on electrical work, with the chance to train as a HV metering installer or EV specialist. The 12-month training programme through this company's Engineering Academy offers ample progression into various roles.

You'll travel to customer sites across the assigned postcode areas and be provided with a van, including EVs and automatic models. Once trained, you can work remotely, but regular site visits will be required.

The ideal candidate will be open, honest, and career-driven, with a strong desire to progress. Previous experience in a field-based or driving role, such as delivery drivers from Sainsbury's, Tesco, or meter readers, is a plus, but the right attitude is most important. The role requires a full, clean driving licence and the ability to manage your own schedule.

The Role:

• Full training provided to become a Meter Data Technician (MDT) with progression opportunities.
• Traveling to customer sites across HA and HP postcode areas.

The Person:

• Open, honest, and driven with a strong desire to progress in their career.
