Trainee Recruitment Consultant – Ashby-de-la-Zouch

Siamo Recruitment, an industry-leading recruitment and training business with almost 40 years of success, is expanding.
We are currently recruiting for a Trainee Recruitment Consultant to support the development and growth of our established Ashby-de-la-Zouch operation. Siamo specialises in supplying temporary and permanent staff across the distribution, logistics, manufacturing, engineering and office professional sectors.
This is a demanding yet rewarding role for someone who is motivated, driven and looking to build a long-term career within a fast-paced and successful business. Full training and ongoing support will be provided.

Salary and hours: 
  • £26,500 – £28,000 basic salary DOE
  • Uncapped commission structure
  • Monday to Friday, 08:30 – 17:30
  • Flexibility for earlier starts and later finishes is required depending on client needs
  • Participation in the team’s weekly on-call rota will also be required
Your responsibilities will include:
  • Proactively generating new business opportunities and developing client relationships
  • Managing and growing existing client accounts
  • Visiting client sites and maintaining strong working relationships
  • Advertising vacancies through job boards and social media platforms
  • Recruiting, screening and interviewing candidates
  • Matching suitable candidates to client requirements
  • Building strong relationships with both clients and candidates
  • Conducting regular service reviews to ensure high levels of client satisfaction
  • Supporting business growth within an already established client base
  • Working towards individual and team performance targets
  • Maintaining and updating the candidate database

Previous recruitment experience is not essential as full training will be provided, however sales, customer service or account management experience would be advantageous.

A full UK driving licence and own vehicle are essential for this role, as regular travel to client sites will be required.
