  • We are hiring for a Traffic Operator to join our busy transport team in Stowmarket!  
     
    This is a great ongoing temp opportunity with a global supply chain. 
     
    Responsibilities 
    • Dispatching and debriefing drivers 
    • Paperwork housekeeping 
    • Helping to resolve issues and disputes, including driver queries 
    • Executing the day plan 
     
    The main skills we are looking for are:  
    • Attention to detail  
    • Time management  
    • Great team player  
    • Confident working alone 
    • Transport knowledge desirable 
    • Excellent communication skills – you’ll be speaking regularly with various stakeholders 
    • Good understanding of Microsoft packages including Excel and Outlook 
     
    You will be a vital part of the transport office team, dealing with drivers as well as the customer and your colleagues.   
    Previous transport planning or transport admin experience is preferable but not essential.   
    Full training is provided.  
      
    Shift Details:   
    Monday to Friday  
    6AM-3PM 
    PAYE - £13.33 per hour
    Opportunity available for the right candidate to increase this based on performance and ability to pick up additional tasks.
