UPS Engineer

My client is a global leader in the design, manufacture, and servicing of industrial UPS systems, ensuring power reliability and safety across critical operations in more than 150 countries. The Role: UPS Engineer

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced UPS Engineer to join a dynamic field service team covering Central Scotland. You will be responsible for start-ups, maintenance, and emergency repairs of UPS systems, batteries, power distribution, and site monitoring equipment.

You will build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their critical systems remain operational 24/7, while also providing expert technical support and fault-finding services when required.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform commissioning, maintenance, and emergency repairs on UPS and associated electrical systems

• Deliver exceptional customer service and technical support

• Travel throughout the UK (including occasional overnight stays)

• Interpret electrical drawings and diagnose faults effectively

About You

• HNC/HND in Electrical or Electronic Engineering (or equivalent)

• Proven field service experience, ideally within UPS or power electronics industries

• Excellent communication and organisational skills

• Confident working under pressure with strong attention to detail

• Full, clean UK driving licence
