We are working with a growing engineering consultancy delivering water and wastewater infrastructure projects across the UK.
With a strong pipeline of work across major frameworks, they are looking to appoint an Urban Drainage Modeller to join their Newcastle team.
The RoleYou will support the delivery of urban drainage and wastewater modelling projects across a range of infrastructure programmes.
Key responsibilities include:

Development and maintenance of wastewater hydraulic models

Urban drainage modelling, including flood risk and network performance

Supporting feasibility studies, optioneering, and design solutions

Carrying out surge analysis and water quality assessments

Working closely with multidisciplinary teams across engineering and design

Supporting the delivery of projects from concept through to implementation
This role offers exposure to a wide variety of projects, helping to develop a broad technical skillset across the water sector
Requirements-
Experience in urban drainage or wastewater modelling

Background in civil engineering, hydrology, or a related discipline

Experience using modelling software (e.g. InfoWorks ICM or similar preferred)

Understanding of water infrastructure and network performance

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Salary of £35,000 – £50,000 depending on experience
