We are working with a well-established and reputable commercial vehicle dealership in Southampton, who are seeking an experienced Van Service Advisor to join their busy aftersales team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a background in automotive or commercial vehicle service environments who thrives in a fast-paced, customer-focused role.

🔧 The Role

As a Van Service Advisor, you will be the key point of contact between customers and the workshop, ensuring a smooth and efficient service process from start to finish.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing service, maintenance, and repair bookings for vans and light commercial vehicles
• Acting as the main liaison between customers and workshop technicians
• Providing accurate updates on job progress, timelines, and costs
• Raising job cards, invoices, and service documentation
• Ensuring all work is scheduled efficiently to maximise workshop productivity
• Handling customer queries and delivering excellent service at all times
• Upselling additional work where appropriate

🧠 About You

We are looking for someone who has:

• Previous experience as a Service Advisor (van, automotive, or commercial vehicle experience preferred)
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Excellent organisational ability and attention to detail
• Confidence working in a busy, fast-moving environment
• IT literacy, with DMS or dealership system experience advantageous
