Van Technician

We are currently recruiting for a Van Mechanic on behalf of a leading Highway Maintenance Company based in the Larbert area.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Van Mechanic to join a reputable client that values expertise and quality workmanship.

Duties of a Van Mechanic:

• Diagnose faults in vehicles manually or using digital tools/software
• Repair and replace faulty vehicle parts efficiently
• Prepare cost estimates and repair timelines
• Conduct vehicle servicing and maintenance
• Liaise with parts stores and suppliers to maintain adequate stock levels
• Update vehicle records in coordination with transport management
• Mentor apprentices and work experience candidates where applicable
• Ensure all work adheres to health and safety standards

Requirements of a Van Mechanic:

• Level 2 or 3 qualification as a Van Mechanic is preferred; however, relevant experience will be considered
• Full UK driving licence (essential)
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment
• Self-motivated with a positive attitude
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Willingness to undertake training and professional development
