Compound Operative – Upper Heyford

£12.71 per hour | Monday to Friday | Temp to Perm (12 weeks)

We are currently recruiting Compound Operatives on behalf of a well-established automotive organisation based in Upper Heyford. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates looking for stable, long-term work with the potential to secure a permanent position after 12 weeks.

Role Overview

As a Compound Operative, you will be responsible for the safe movement, organisation, and basic checking of vehicles within a secure compound environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Moving vehicles safely around the compound
• Parking vehicles accurately in designated areas
• Carrying out basic vehicle checks and reporting damage
• Updating vehicle locations using handheld devices or paperwork
• Maintaining site cleanliness and health & safety standards
• Supporting general yard and vehicle logistics operations

Requirements

• Full UK driving licence (essential)
• Confident driving manual and automatic vehicles
• Good attention to detail
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused

Hours & Pay

• Monday to Friday
• £12.71 per hour
• 8:00am to 5:00pm
• 12-week temp to perm opportunity
