Hours:
Monday to Friday (Days)
7:30am – 3:30pm (40-hour week)

We’re on the lookout for a Vehicle Fitter with strong hands-on experience. If you’ve worked on vehicle, bogie, or rail overhauls involving stripping and rebuilding, this could be a great fit.

Vehicle Fitter Role
  • Full mechanical fitting experience
  • Experience in large fitting environments (coach/vehicle builds)
  • Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and schematics
  • Using hand and power tools for cutting, folding, and fitting
  • Quality checking builds for alignment and accuracy
  • Following Health & Safety procedures and maintaining a safe workspace
What You’ll Need as a Vehicle Fitter
  • Proven experience as a Vehicle Fitter in a fast-paced or technical environment
  • Strong ability to read and work from technical drawings
  • Confident using a wide range of hand and power tools
  • Problem-solver with a sharp eye for detail
  • Experience in vehicle fitting
  • Background in Aviation, Military, Marine, or similar sectors is an advantage
  • Ability to read basic electrical schematics is a bonus
Vehicle Fitter Pay
  • Long-term contract
  • PAYE: £20.05ph
  • Umbrella: £27.34ph
