This is a distinctive Vehicle Mechanic (Air Cooled Engines) opportunity for mechanics passionate about classic and vintage vehicles, focusing on air-cooled petrol engines such as those found in iconic Porsche and Volkswagen models.

Duties of the Vehicle Mechanic (Air Cooled Engines):
  • Carrying out servicing and repairs on vintage vehicles, focusing on air-cooled petrol engines
  • Diagnosing faults and performing engine servicing on classic models
  • Conducting manual mechanical tasks with high attention to quality standards
  • Maintaining detailed records of work completed for each vehicle
  • Working within tooling constraints, relying on skilled manual techniques rather than modern diagnostics
  • Ensuring all work complies with safety and quality regulations
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Vehicle Mechanic with a focus on air-cooled or vintage petrol engines
  • Strong manual mechanical skills and a passion for classic vehicle restoration
  • Knowledge of air-cooled engines such as in Porsche and Volkswagen models is highly desirable
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently within a team environment
