AKA Recruitment are proud to be working with a well-established automotive business based in York, currently looking to add an experienced Vehicle Technician to their growing workshop team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a competent technician seeking strong earning potential, stable hours, and a supportive working environment.

Salary Benefits:

  • £30,000 – £50,000 basic salary (depending on experience and level)

  • Competitive pay structure

  • 28 days holiday (including bank holidays)

  • No MOT work required:

Working Hours:

  • Monday to Friday – 8:00am to 5:30pm

  • Every second weekend required

The Role:

  • Carrying out servicing, maintenance and mechanical repairs

  • Diagnosing faults using modern diagnostic equipment

  • Completing work to high standards of safety and quality

  • Working efficiently within a busy workshop environment

Requirements:

  • Fully qualified Vehicle Technician (Level 3 or equivalent preferred)

  • Proven workshop experience

  • Own tools required

  • Full UK Driving Licence (maximum 3 points accepted)

  • MOT licence not required
