This is a full-time role working 40 hours a week to service a variety of vehicles, various brands and deal with the repair of bodywork.
As the Vehicle Technician you will:
- Perform routine servicing and maintenance (oil changes, brakes, tyres, etc.).
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using diagnostic equipment.
- Repair or replace faulty parts and components.
- Conduct vehicle inspections and safety checks.
- Maintain accurate service records and job sheets.
- Ensure all work complies with safety and manufacturer standards.
- Keep the workshop clean, organised, and safe.
- Communicate with customers or service advisors about required repairs.
We are looking for a Vehicle Technician with:
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent).
- Previous experience in a garage/workshop environment.
- Strong knowledge of vehicle systems (engine, transmission, braking, electrical).
- Ability to use diagnostic tools and software.
- Problem-solving and fault-finding skills.
- MOT Tester certification (desirable, not essential).
- Full UK driving licence.
- Basic IT skills for job logging and diagnostics.
In return you will receive a salary of £40,000 - £55,000 per annum plus pension, healthcare, discount on products / tickets to shows.
