Duties of a Vehicle Technician:
  • Conduct routine servicing, maintenance, and repairs to manufacturer standards
  • Diagnose faults accurately and complete required repairs efficiently
  • Perform comprehensive vehicle health checks and identify upselling opportunities as a Vehicle Technician
  • Communicate effectively with workshop control regarding job progress
  • Ensure a first-time fix rate to maximise customer satisfaction
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment
  • Conduct MOT testing, if qualified
  • Keep up to date with manufacturer guidelines and technical updates
Requirements of a Vehicle Technician:
  • Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent
  • Proven experience within a busy workshop environment
  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Full UK driving licence
  • MOT qualification is desirable but not essential
