Our client, a reputable prestige main dealership based in Northampton, is seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician to join their well-established workshop team. Duties of a Vehicle Technician:
  • Conduct servicing, maintenance, and repair work on a variety of customer vehicles
  • Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical faults with accuracy and efficiency
  • Perform preventative and reactive repairs to meet manufacturer and dealership standards
  • Vehicle Technicians Maintain detailed workshop records and documentation
  • Liaise with colleagues and service department to communicate repair progress and timings
  • Support team during busy periods and assist colleagues where required
  • Ensure high standards of workmanship and attention to detail in all tasks
Requirements of a Vehicle Technician:
  • NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a qualified Vehicle Technician in a main dealership environment
  • Driving licence (Full UK) is essential; MOT licence and EV qualifications are desirable but not mandatory
  • Own set of tools
  • Excellent diagnostic skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
