Our client, a reputable car dealer group in Welling, is seeking two experienced Vehicle Technicians to join their professional aftersales team. This is an excellent opportunity for skilled technicians aiming to grow their career within a well-established dealership. The role is based at their new state-of-the-art site, offering a supportive working environment and outstanding benefits.

Benefits:
  • Competitive basic salary of £32,000 – £36,000, with an OTE of over £9,000
  • Monday to Friday working hours, 8:00am – 5:30pm, with no weekend work

Duties of a Vehicle Technician:
  • Conduct vehicle repairs, diagnostics, and routine maintenance to the highest standards
  • Ensure all work is completed in line with manufacturer guidelines and safety protocols
  • Perform thorough vehicle inspections, accurately reporting findings
  • Use diagnostic tools and equipment effectively to identify faults
  • Maintain detailed records of work carried out and parts used as a Vehicle Technician
  • Assist with additional service department tasks as required by the dealership
  • Maintain high levels of customer service and professionalism
Requirements of a Vehicle Technician:
  • NVQ Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
  • Proven experience working in a main dealership environment
  • MOT certification is advantageous; FGAS and EV training are desirable
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
  • Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
  • Good communication skills and a professional attitude
  • Commitment to delivering excellent customer service
