Our client, a reputable and well-established dealership in Crawley, West Sussex, is seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician to join their professional team. This Vehicle Technician role offers a competitive salary with achievable bonus potential, alongside overtime opportunities and favourable working hours. The successful individual will be instrumental in maintaining high standards of vehicle servicing and repairs, ensuring customer vehicles are returned fully operational and safe.

Benefits Of A Vehicle Technician:
  • Competitive basic salary from £34,000 up to £41,000 dependent on experience
  • Achievable OTE of approximately £45,000 including bonus and overtime
  • Bonus potential of up to £5,000 annually
  • Overtime paid at enhanced rates to boost earnings
  • Monday to Friday working hours from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm
  • Rotational Saturday mornings to accommodate busy workshop demands

Duties:
  • Conduct repairs and servicing on a wide range of vehicles to manufacturer standards
  • Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults accurately using diagnostic tools
  • Use diagnostic equipment to identify issues efficiently
  • Complete work within allocated timeframes while maintaining high quality standards
  • Ensure all work is documented properly for workshop records
  • Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times
  • Assist with minor vehicle repairs and inspections as needed
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician
  • Relevant technical qualifications such as NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Strong diagnostic skills with a good understanding of vehicle systems
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
  • Flexible approach to working hours, including rota Saturday mornings
