Are you an experienced Vehicle Technician seeking a new challenge? Our client, a prominent leader in the South West automotive market, is actively recruiting a skilled Vehicle Technician to join their busy Vehicle Preparation Centre in Avonmouth.
This is an excellent opportunity to work with a reputable dealership known for high standards and professional development. The position offers a competitive salary and attractive benefits package, with future relocation to Portbury.
Benefits:
- Salary ranging from £35,000 to £45,000 per annum, dependent on qualifications and experience
- Overtime paid at enhanced rates of 1.5X and 2X

- Conduct fault diagnosis on engines, brakes, transmissions, and fuel systems
- Perform servicing and repairs across all makes and models
- Rebuild engines and refurbish vehicle parts as required
- Collaborate with parts and Pre-Delivery Vehicle Technicians to maintain workflow
- Identify potential safety hazards and ensure tools and machinery are well-maintained
- Adhere strictly to health and safety standards
- Support continuous improvement of workshop processes and vehicle quality
- Maintain high standards of workmanship in a busy environment
- Provide excellent technical support to meet team and dealership targets
- Qualified to at least IMI/NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
- Minimum of 1-2 years practical experience as a Vehicle Technician
- Own comprehensive set of tools
- Hold a valid UK driving licence with minimal points
- Strong commitment to quality, safety, and teamwork
- Ability to produce high-quality work efficiently within a fast-paced workshop environment
- Motivated with a proactive approach to ongoing training and development
