Our client, a well-established and respected employer in the automotive industry, is currently seeking a qualified Vehicle Technician to join their professional workshop team.

This is an excellent opportunity to work with a leading franchise dealer, utilising modern diagnostic and repair equipment within a supportive environment that values quality and continuous development.

Duties of a Vehicle Technician:
  • Carrying out thorough vehicle health checks using the latest diagnostic technology
  • Performing vehicle servicing in accordance with manufacturer guidelines and customer requests
  • Diagnosing and executing additional repairs with customer approval
  • Conducting warranty repairs compliant with manufacturer standards, ensuring proper documentation
  • Taking vehicles on road tests to verify fault rectification
  • Completing all relevant paperwork to a high standard
  • Keeping up with manufacturer updates and technical procedures to ensure service quality
Requirements of a Vehicle Technician:
  • NVQ Level 3 qualification or equivalent in Vehicle Technology
  • Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician or mechanic, from a brand or non-brand background
  • Full valid UK driving licence; MOT licence is advantageous
  • Strong diagnostic skills, with familiarity in EV and hybrid systems preferred but not essential
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering high standards of vehicle service
  • Ability to work effectively within a team environment
  • Willingness to undertake manufacturer-specific training
