Our client, a well-established and expanding dealership in Exeter, is currently recruiting for a Vehicle Technician to join their professional team. This is an excellent opportunity for skilled motor trade professionals looking to develop their career in a stable and supportive environment.

Benefits of the Vehicle Technician role:
  • Competitive basic salary up to £37,000, dependent on experience and qualifications
  • OTE in the region of £43,000
  • Monday to Friday working hours, 08:00 am to 17:30 pm
  • Paid Saturday mornings on a 1 in 4 rota basis

Duties of the Vehicle Technician:
  • Servicing, repairing, and maintaining vans and other vehicles to high standards
  • Diagnosing faults using diagnostic equipment to test, trace, and repair vehicle issues
  • Carrying out MOTs (Class 4 and 7) – advantageous but not essential
  • Working efficiently both independently and within a team setting
  • Ensuring all work complies with safety standards and manufacturer guidelines
  • Maintaining and utilising personal tools to carry out repairs
Requirements:
  • Level 3 qualified Vehicle Technician (essential)
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Confident in vehicle repair, servicing, and maintenance
  • Experience with diagnostic tools and electronic equipment
  • Willingness to work on a range of vehicle brands, primarily vans
  • Own tools required
  • Motivated, reliable, and able to work independently or as part of a team
