Our client, a reputable franchise-approved car dealership group operating throughout South West Wales, is seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician to join their busy Carmarthen dealership. This opportunity is ideal for experienced professionals committed to delivering high-quality service and repairs. As a Vehicle Technician, you will play a vital role in maintaining the dealership’s standards by diagnosing and rectifying vehicle faults efficiently and accurately.
Benefits for the successful Vehicle Technician:
- Up to £35,000 per annum salary, depending on experience
- Performance-related bonus scheme worth up to £(phone number removed) annually
- Paid overtime at 1.25x rate
- Increasing holiday entitlement, starting at 20 days plus bank holidays, increasing after 5 years to 23 days

- Regular working hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am-5:30pm and 1 in 3 Saturdays, 8:30am-1:00pm, paid at enhanced rate
- Conduct fault diagnosis, servicing, and repairs to manufacturer standards
- Accurately identify vehicle faults and report findings to the Service Manager
- Maintain full adherence to quality procedures laid out by both the client and vehicle manufacturers
- Ensure all work is completed within safety and safety compliance standards
- Complete vehicle servicing and repairs promptly, contributing to high customer satisfaction levels
- Work effectively as part of a team in a high-demand dealership environment
- Assist in maintaining efficient workshop operations and achieving team targets
- NVQ Level 2 or equivalent qualification as a minimum
- At least 1-2 years’ practical experience as a Vehicle Technician
- Full UK driving licence with minimal points
- Ability to produce high-quality workmanship consistently
- Strong diagnostic skills and technical knowledge
- Motivated with a professional attitude and excellent team spirit
- Residing in, or within reasonable commuting distance to, Carmarthen
