Our client, a reputable and well-established Car Dealership Group operating across London, Kent, and Surrey for over 70 years, is seeking a highly skilled Vehicle Technician to join their dedicated Mechanical Workshop team in Croydon. Duties of a Vehicle Technician:
  • Carry out routine servicing, including checks and maintenance following manufacturer standards
  • Repair or replace faulty parts and components accurately and efficiently
  • Provide accurate repair time estimates and maintain detailed service and repair records
  • Diagnose vehicle issues using manufacturer diagnostic procedures
  • Test vehicle systems post-repair to ensure safety and quality standards are met
  • Liaise with Service Reception to advise on required repairs and work completion times
  • Ensure all repairs are conducted to the highest industry standards and comply with manufacturer guidelines
Requirements of a Vehicle Technician:
  • Minimum of two years’ experience working within a main dealership environment or equivalent automotive setting
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with a track record of quality workmanship
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team as a Vehicle Technician
  • Ambition to further develop skills and progress within the automotive industry
  • Professional attitude and excellent communication skills
