- Service, repair, and adjust vehicles to manufacturer standards, ensuring high-quality workmanship.
- Conduct diagnostics and fault analysis using recognised test procedures.
- Road test vehicles, where necessary, to confirm and verify repairs.
- Observe, identify, and report on any vehicle defects or potential issues.
- Reassemble, recharge, and document components accurately, with proper cost estimation.
- Maintain and update technical records and service reports.
- Support ongoing training initiatives, including Electric Vehicle (EV) maintenance.
- NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Mechanics, City & Guilds, or equivalent qualification.
- Proven experience working on light commercial vehicles and transit vans.
- MOT testing qualification is highly desirable.
- Full UK driving licence and own tools.
- Minimum two years’ experience in a main dealership environment.
- Competence to perform diagnostics and repairs to manufacturer standards.
- Willingness to develop additional skills in Electric Vehicle maintenance through further training.
