Ventilation Engineer

Are you an experienced Smoke Vent Engineer looking for a new opportunity with an innovative, growing company? Do you have experience servicing and maintaining smoke ventilation systems, pressure systems and AOVs? If so, this Smoke Vent Engineer position is perfect for you!

This Smoke Ventilation Engineer position is covering the South of the UK (Kent, Sussex, Hampshire, London, etc.), working Monday to Friday. The hours for the role are 8:30am – 5pm. The position comes with a company vehicle, tools, PPE and other relevant equipment. The position is paying £40,000 - £50,000 depending on experience. Overtime and career progression are available.

This is a field role focused on the servicing, maintenance, inspection and repair of smoke ventilation systems across commercial and residential environments. The successful candidate will be responsible for fault finding, testing and maintaining AOV systems, control panels and pressure systems, ensuring all equipment remains fully compliant with current fire safety regulations and industry standards. Duties will also include completing service documentation, liaising with clients and site teams, supporting commissioning activities and ensuring work is completed safely and efficiently.

You will need:

·        Previous experience working on smoke ventilation or fire safety systems

·        Strong fault finding skills

·        Strong understanding of up to date fire safety standards and regulations

·        The ability to read technical drawings and wiring diagrams

·        Electrical or mechanical qualifications are advantageous
