Vertical Borer

Employment Solutions have an exciting opportunity for a Manual Vertical Borer within a rapidly growing engineering company specialising in precision Engineering.
Based in Bolton

The role will involve overseeing smooth machining operations, promoting cross-training across the workshop, and supporting the development of team members to enhance overall productivity and skill levels.

• Machine Operation: Setting up and operating large capacity vertical boring machines.
• Technical Work: Interpreting complex engineering drawings, blueprints, and work orders to produce precise, large-scale components.
• Machining Processes: Carrying out, facing, edging, and boring operations, along with setting up PCDs (Pitch Circle Diameters) for flange tapping.
• Quality Control: Conducting self-inspection of finished parts using precision measurement equipment to meet, or exceed, specified tolerances.
• Maintenance: Maintaining a clean and organized work area, adhering strictly to health and safety procedures, and performing routine machine checks.

Reporting directly to the Workshop Manager this is an excellent opportunity to be involved with a dynamic company and to build on future opportunities within our growing business.

In return you'll receive a salary up to £19.91 per hour (UMBRELLA)
37.5 hour working week Monday to Friday days - 8am till 4.30pm Finish at 3.30pm on a Friday
