Vocational Teacher

Tradewind Recruitment is working with a friendly and inclusive school in the NG13 area seeking a Full-Time Vocational Teacher to join their team ASAP on a long-term basis. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a supportive environment, delivering engaging vocational learning programmes that inspire and motivate pupils to achieve their full potential.

This position is ideal for a passionate and adaptable teacher with experience delivering practical, skills-based learning to students who may require additional support to engage with education.

• Plan and deliver engaging vocational lessons tailored to pupils' individual needs and abilities
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes participation and achievement
• Support pupils in developing practical skills, confidence, and employability skills
• Differentiate learning to meet a range of educational and behavioural needs
• Monitor, assess, and record pupil progress
• Work closely with teaching assistants, pastoral teams, and senior leaders to support pupil outcomes
• Promote positive behaviour and maintain high expectations within the classroom
• Contribute to the wider school community and support enrichment activities where appropriate

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), QTLS, or relevant vocational teaching qualification
• Experience delivering vocational subjects or practical learning programmes
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
• Passion for supporting young people to achieve their potential
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)

• Daily rate paid to scale, dependent on experience and qualifications
• Full-time long-term position
