Main Duties:
This is an excellent opportunity for someone seeking a new career with limited experience. Through our apprenticeship program you will learn and the skills required to progress within your career and our business. Reporting directly to the Warehouse Supervisor, you will learn how to complete tasks which assist the day to day running of the Warehouse, specifically supporting the warehouse goods in department to pick orders ready for delivery and receiving goods in and arranging stock. This role includes a paid apprenticeship scheme with designated time to complete your course/qualification.
Key Skills:
• Adhering to good practice within the warehouse;
• Organising daily delivery notes;
• Picking and Preparing orders for delivery;
• Use of pallet truck - electric or manual;
• Manage the stock set up & removal process;
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment;
• Ensure that you follow the correct health and safety procedures, including not using mobile phones in the warehouse;
• Completion of apprenticeship coursework to specified deadlines.
Knowledge and Experience:
• Good punctuality and attendance.
• Good teamwork skills.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to gain a good product knowledge.
• Ability to travel to/from your home and our depot safely.
