Warehouse Operative

We have immediate starts for Warehouse Order Pickers on a Rotating Shift. 

About the Warehouse Order Picker Role: 

• Working hours are Monday to Friday - No weekends!
• You will be working on rotating shifts. Week 1 (Monday to Friday, 6.15am-2.15pm) & Week 2 (Monday to Thursday, 2pm-10pm & 12pm-8pm on Friday). 
• £13.10ph for Early Shift, rising to £13.45ph after 12 weeks
• £14.23ph for Late Shift, rising to £14.58ph after 12 weeks 
• Overtime available, paid at enhanced overtime rate
• Based in Dorcan area of Swindon (SN3). On bus route
• This is a temporary ongoing role. Permanent opportunities may become available in the future, subject to business needs and individual performance.

Duties for the Warehouse Order Picker role will include:

• Operating a Low Level Order Picker (LLOP) & RF Scanner you will be picking batteries of various weights.
• Assisting with goods-in department
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment, whilst adhering to Health & Safety procedures & regulations
• Working as part of a team to ensure all picks are completed to meet daily targets

Skills / requirements for the Warehouse Order Picker role:

• Previous experience of working in a warehouse / order picking environment
• Experience of operating a LLOP is beneficial 
• Good organisational and time management skills
• Be physically fit due to nature of the role - there is heavy lifting involved
