Temp-to-Perm Opportunity We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative on behalf of our client in Wellingborough. This is an excellent opportunity for reliable and hardworking individuals looking to secure long-term employment within a busy warehouse environment.
As a Warehouse Operative, you will be responsible for supporting the efficient handling of inbound and outbound book shipments. Working as part of a dedicated warehouse team, you'll help ensure goods are processed accurately, safely, and in line with company procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Receiving and inspecting incoming book shipments and pallets
- Booking stock into the warehouse management system
- Scanning, locating, and putting stock away accurately
- Picking, packing, labelling, and preparing orders for dispatch
- Loading and unloading freight when required
- Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment
- Following all health and safety procedures
- Supporting other warehouse duties as directed by management
- Previous warehouse, ideally within logistics, freight, cargo, or distribution
- Good level of physical fitness with the ability to lift and move stock
- Basic computer skills and experience using scanners or warehouse system
