Warehouse Operative / Material Handler

• Working Hours: 40 hours per week (8 hours per day), Monday to Friday
• Working Arrangement: Onsite
• IR35 Status: Inside IR35

£15.26 per hour

Our client operates the UK & Ireland Distribution Centre and plays a key role in supporting the renewable energy sector. With a strong focus on quality, safety, and operational excellence, they are committed to continuous improvement and maintaining high standards across all warehouse operations.

• Experience working in a renewable energy supply chain environment

• Offloading stock in a safe, quick, and efficient manner
• Ensuring stock is put away correctly in designated storage locations
• Sorting stock onto pallets ready for racking and storage
• Picking goods accurately for outbound shipments
• Processing inbound and outbound daily orders
• Counting parts and ensuring stock accuracy
• Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe warehouse environment
• Adhering to all company Health & Safety and QA regulations
• Supporting continuous improvement of warehouse processes and workflows

• Current valid Counterbalance AND Reach forklift licences
• Previous warehouse experience, including working within racking systems
• Experience using warehouse management systems (WMS)
• Strong attention to detail
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work on own initiative
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good numeracy and literacy skills
• Computer literate

• Experience using SAP
• Interest or passion for renewable energy
• Flexible and positive approach to work

• Warehouse Management Systems (SAP preferred)
