Location: Wormingford, Colchester

Day Shifts: 7am-4pm, £13.77 per hour, overtime rate of £17.21ph

OR

Night Shifts: 4pm-1am £14.27 per hour, overtime rate of £17.83ph

About the Role:

A well-established food manufacturing company is looking for reliable and hardworking Warehouse Operatives to join its production team.

Due to the rural location, a full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle are essential.

Requirements:

• Valid, accredited Counterbalance Forklift Truck licence
• Valid UK Driving Licence
• Reliable, punctual and willing to learn
• Basic English and maths skills
• Physically fit for manual work
• Comfortable in fast-paced environment
• Food production experience is helpful but not required

Key Responsibilities:

• Supply bulk packaging and materials to production and packing lines
• Load and unload delivery vehicles
• Support efficient stock rotation and use handheld RF scanners to ensure accurate inventory tracking
• Help reduce waste and product damage during transit and storage
• Follow all Health & Safety, Food Safety, HACCP and site hygiene procedures
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised warehouse and yard area
• Complete required quality and pre-shift forklift inspection checks accurately
• Operate all material handling equipment safely
• Work closely with colleagues across production, packing, engineering and quality
