Warehouse Operative - Night Shifts

Apply today to work as a Warehouse Operative for our client's site, a National Distribution for one of the UK's largest retailers of trade tools, hardware, plumbing, and electrical accessories.

Staffline is recruiting Warehouse Operatives in Lichfield.

The rate of pay is £16.57 per hour.

Overtime is available and is paid at £23.45 per hour.

This is a full-time role working fixed night shifts, Sunday to Thursday, and the hours of work are:
- 10pm to 6am

Your Time at Work

As a Warehouse Operative your duties include:

- Supporting the day-to-day warehouse operation by carrying out inbound, outbound and stock control activities using the Warehouse Management System (WMS)
- Picking and packing products accurately for retail delivery orders, handling stock with care and a high level of attention to detail
- Working efficiently and flexibly to meet operational KPIs and targets, both independently and as part of a wider team
- Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment by following all Safe Systems of Work, Standard Operating Procedures and hygiene requirements

Please note that this role will require picking items up to 25kg.

Our Perfect Worker

Our perfect worker will be punctual and reliable. You will be able to work to targets and operational KPIs, while working independently or as part of a team.

Applicants will be physically capable of manual handling picking tasks within the warehouse, on foot for long periods of time too. You must follow all site safety systems of work.

Experience in a similar role is desirable, but not essential as full training is provided.
