About the Role
We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative with experience operating a Pedestrian Stacker Truck to join a busy warehouse team.
This is a hands-on role that combines warehouse duties with the safe operation of a pedestrian stacker. The successful candidate will be involved in stock movement, order picking, manual handling, and general warehouse activities.
Please note that this role involves working in a warehouse environment where noise levels can be high at times. Candidates must also be comfortable working at height and using ladders to access stock safely.
Key Responsibilities
- Operating a Pedestrian Stacker Truck safely and efficiently
- Loading, unloading, and moving stock throughout the warehouse
- Picking and packing customer orders
- Replenishing stock locations
- Accessing and retrieving stock using warehouse ladders
- Carrying out manual handling duties
- Performing stock checks and inventory control activities
- Maintaining a clean and organised work area
- Following all health and safety procedures
- Previous experience operating a Pedestrian Stacker Truck
- Valid Pedestrian Stacker licence/certification (preferred)
- Previous warehouse experience
- Ability to carry out manual handling duties
- Comfortable using ladders to access stock at height
- Good attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong awareness of health and safety procedures
