£12.71 per hour

We are excited to be recruiting on behalf of a well-established and reputable business based in Bury St Edmunds, who are preparing for a busy seasonal period and are looking to expand their warehouse team. This is a fantastic opportunity for candidates seeking ongoing work within a fast-paced warehouse environment, with immediate starts and long-term opportunities available for the right individuals.

Please note: this role will involve manual handling and heavy lifting, so candidates must be physically fit and comfortable with repetitive lifting duties.

Key Duties:

• Picking and packing orders accurately and efficiently for dispatch
• Loading and unloading stock within the warehouse
• Conducting stock checks and supporting inventory control processes
• Maintaining high standards of warehouse cleanliness and housekeeping
• Following all health & safety procedures and site guidelines
• Working as part of a busy team to meet daily targets and deadlines

Requirements:

• Previous warehouse experience is preferred but not essential
• A valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence would be advantageous and may attract a higher rate of pay
• Ability to work in a physically demanding environment
• Reliable, hardworking, and able to work well within a team
