The Role

We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Operative to join our busy team within the Warehouse of a manufacturing site to ensure the smooth operations of moving, managing and organising goods within the warehouse.

Key Responsibilities:

• Forklift (Bendy) operation & pre-use safety checks
• Safely remove pallets from racking as detailed in pick list
• Safely moving pallets from end of factory line to racking
• Safely loading / unloading vehicles in yard area
• Operating scanner and occasional computer use
• Following SOP’s, SSW’s with a pro-active approach to safety
• Attending training, meetings, company updates when required

Key Skills & Experience:

• Forklift Licence preferably Pivot Steer (Bendy)
• Previous warehouse, picking and loading experience
• Knowledge of stock control and inventory
• Knowledge of health & safety in warehouse environment
• Problem solving skills
• Adaptable, able to embrace change at short notice
• Good communication both verbal and written
• IT competent – Using Scanners & Computer Applications etc.
