We are currently recruiting for an experienced Backshift Supervisor to join a growing logistics company within a busy, fast-paced operational environment. This is an excellent temp-to-perm opportunity for a motivated leader with strong supervisory experience looking to progress within an expanding business.
Key Duties:
- Supervising and supporting backshift logistics operations to ensure smooth daily performance
- Leading, motivating, and managing a team to meet productivity and operational targets
- Monitoring staff performance, attendance, and workflow
Ensuring health & safety procedures are followed at all times - Managing shift planning and staff allocation effectively
- Maintaining high standards of efficiency, accuracy, and customer service
- Reporting operational issues and implementing solutions quickly
Supporting the training and development of team members
- Previous supervisory or team leader experience within logistics, warehouse, or
- Operational environments
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting
- Good problem-solving and organisational skills
- Flexible, reliable, and proactive approach
- Knowledge of health & safety procedures
